Apple has its secretive AI research facility. The facility is located in Switzerland and is responsible for conducting research related to AI development. The facility is named “Zurich Vision Lab”.

The lab is famous for its research in the field of AI. This research is related not only to AI but also to computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and autonomous systems.

The research is meant to include the Apple Car too. Other than that the research will support a huge number of Apple’s projects. The improvement in Siri and the AR/VR headset is a result of research in the Zurich Lab. However, the research doesn’t mention the Apple Car separately.

The marvel works of the lab have made their way into the famous Apple products as well. These research works can be seen in the eye contact correction feature in FaceTime. It can also be seen in the Visual Lookup in iOS 15. The visual capabilities to revolutionize user interaction with Siri have been enhanced.

The AI developments are booming in Switzerland. Apart from Apple other Tech firms are also conducting AI research in the country. These include IBM, Microsoft, and Meta. The position of the beautiful country will go to the next level after the launch of the Alps supercomputer in 2024.

The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook discussed new AI features. As per Tim, the features will make their way into iOS 18. The AI if successful will be integrated into iPhones and Apple products.

He stated that the team at Apple is requested to embed maximum AI features into the services and applications.

The Zurich Lab is indeed an important place for Apple’s development initiatives. As the giant company Apple works hard to get its products into the AI world, the lab can be an important source to deliver AI features throughout Apple’s products.
