At least nine individuals have lost their lives after several vehicles fell into the Mahisagar River in Gujarat, India, following the sudden collapse of the Gambhira-Mujpur bridge, according to a report by NDTV on Wednesday.

Reports indicate that six vehicles, including two trucks and a pickup truck, plunged into the river when the bridge, which serves as a connection between Anand and Vadodara districts, unexpectedly gave way.
