Peru continues to dominate as the world’s largest holder of silver reserves, possessing an impressive 140,000 tons, accounting for 22% of all known deposits. Renowned for its extensive mining industry, Peru’s abundant silver resources fuel both local economies and global supply chains. The country’s rich mineral landscape has attracted significant investments, making it a central player in the silver market.

Australia Secures Its Position Among the Top Silver Holders

Australia ranks second globally, with approximately 94,000 tons of silver reserves, representing 15% of the world’s total. Known for its advanced mining infrastructure, Australia has consistently been a major contributor to global mineral exports. The country’s resource-rich landscape ensures a steady supply of silver, supporting its position in the international market.

Russia Closes the Gap with Significant Silver Reserves

With around 92,000 tons of silver, Russia holds 14% of the world’s deposits, placing it third. The nation’s vast geographical reach encompasses numerous silver deposits, primarily located in Siberia and the Ural Mountains. Chile and the United States: Notable Silver Deposits

Bolivia’s Rich Deposits and Potential Growth

Emerging Silver Markets: India, Argentina, and Canada

India’s reserves are around 8,000 tons, making up about 1% of the global total, while Argentina and Canada hold approximately 6,500 and 4,900 tons respectively. These nations are expanding their mining industries, investing in technology and sustainability to access new deposits.
