If you’re looking to upgrade the memory on your notebook with an Intel N150 processor, you’re in the right place. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you through the process.

First, let’s clarify the memory specifications. Notebooks that feature Intel N150 processors can support a maximum of 1 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory. This means if you’re considering expanding your memory, you’ll want to stick with that configuration.

To validate this, even the service manual for the original HP 14-ep0xxx model series indicates the same. Although some of these models may come with the Intel N100 processors, the manual confirms that the maximum memory supported is still 1 x 16 GB.

If you want to dive deeper into the technical details, you can refer to the HP Maintenance and Service Guide here.

Additionally, you can find relevant specifications about the Intel N150 processor here.

Now that you have a clear understanding of what memory your device can support, let’s go through the steps to upgrade your notebook’s memory.

  1. Gather Your Tools: You’ll need a small Phillips screwdriver and the new DDR4 memory module.

  2. Power Down: Completely turn off your notebook and unplug it from any power source.

  3. Access the Memory Slot: Remove the back panel of your notebook. Be careful to locate the screws holding it in place.

  4. Remove Old Memory (if needed): If there’s already a memory module installed, gently release the clips on either side of the module and pull it out.

  5. Install New Memory: Take your new 16 GB DDR4-3200 CL22 memory module and align it in the slot. Press down gently until the clips snap into place.

  6. Reassemble Your Notebook: Replace the back panel and secure it with screws.

  7. Power On and Check: Turn your notebook back on. Once it boots up, check the memory in your system settings to ensure the new RAM is recognized.

By following these steps, you’ll have successfully upgraded your notebook’s memory without hassle. This upgrade should help improve your notebook’s performance, allowing for a smoother experience with your applications and multitasking. Enjoy your enhanced device!
