We anticipate a wealth of announcements from the tech giant, including more details about Android 16—following the significant insights shared last week during the Android Show—updates to Gemini AI, and potentially new VR headsets or AR glasses, along with a dedicated Android XR platform.
Updates on Android Auto and WearOS 6 might also be revealed, but it seems likely that Google will place a strong emphasis on AI topics.

The event will take place in person at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.

How long is the Google I/O 2025 keynote?
While Google hasn’t confirmed the duration for this year’s keynote, past events suggest it will be quite lengthy.
The 2024 keynote lasted one hour and 52 minutes, while the 2023 keynote extended for two hours and five minutes. So, make sure you have plenty of snacks ready for a two-hour session.
