If you’re having trouble copying code snippets from a webpage, here’s a simple way to make it easier. Sometimes, clicking the copy button doesn’t work well or the code snippet isn’t easily selectable. To fix this, follow these steps:
First, look for the copy button near the code you want to copy. If it’s not working, you can simply highlight the code manually. Use your mouse to click and drag over the code block until all the text is selected.
Once the text is highlighted, right-click on the selected area and choose “Copy” from the menu. Alternatively, after selecting the text, press “Ctrl + C” if you’re on a Windows PC or “Command + C” if you’re on a Mac. This will copy the code to your clipboard.
Now, you can paste the code into your preferred document or editor by right-clicking and choosing “Paste” or by pressing “Ctrl + V” (Windows) or “Command + V” (Mac).
This manual method works well when the copy button isn’t responding or if you want to select only part of the code. It’s a reliable way to save any code or text you need from a webpage.
