If you’re facing issues with the “Pull to Refresh” feature not working on your iPhone, here’s a simple solution you can try to fix the problem. Many users find that the gesture doesn’t respond as expected, making it frustrating to refresh their pages or app content. Luckily, this is often caused by a common setting that can be easily adjusted.

First, go to your iPhone’s Settings app. Scroll down and tap on “Accessibility.” Within that menu, find and select “Touch.” Then, look for the “AssistiveTouch” option and make sure it is turned off. If it’s turned on, this can sometimes interfere with gestures like pull-to-refresh.

After turning off AssistiveTouch, restart your iPhone. Once it powers back on, open the app or webpage where you were having trouble. Now, try the “Pull to Refresh” gesture again by dragging your finger down from the top of the screen. It should work smoothly now.

If your pull-to-refresh still doesn’t respond, double-check that you’re using the gesture correctly. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen until you see the refresh icon or until the page begins to reload. Make sure you’re not accidentally scrolling or dragging too fast.

In most cases, these simple steps resolve the issue. Disabling AssistiveTouch and restarting your phone clears any settings that might block or interfere with standard gestures. Remember, sometimes the problem is just a temporary glitch, and a quick restart can make a big difference.

By following these easy instructions, you should be able to restore the pull-to-refresh functionality on your iPhone and get back to browsing or using your apps more comfortably.
