Select Language:
If you’re wondering whether Live Translation is available in South Africa, here’s what you need to know. Currently, Apple hasn’t officially released an English (South Africa) language option for devices. However, you can still use Live Translation by changing your device’s language settings.
To do this, go to your device’s Settings, then tap on ‘Language & Region.’ From there, select either ‘English (UK)’ or ‘English (US),’ depending on your preference. Once you set your device to one of these options, Live Translation should work just like it does in other regions with supported languages.
Keep in mind that some features might work slightly differently or have limitations when using a language setting that’s not specifically tailored for South Africa. But overall, changing your device language to English (UK) or US is a good way to enable Live Translation if the South African version isn’t available yet.
