  2. 3-cell Battery: 52 Wh, 4.55 Ah (HP part # L08855-856)

  1. Gather Your Tools: You’ll need a small Phillips screwdriver and a clean, flat workspace.

  2. Power Down Your Laptop: Make sure your laptop is completely turned off. Disconnect it from any power source and remove any USB devices.

  3. Remove the Back Cover: Using the Phillips screwdriver, carefully remove the screws on the back of your laptop. Keep track of where each screw goes. Once the screws are out, gently lift off the back cover.

  4. Locate the Battery: Find the battery compartment. It will be clearly marked and easy to spot.

  5. Disconnect and Remove the Old Battery: Carefully unplug the battery connector from the motherboard. Remove the screws holding the battery in place, and gently lift it out.

  6. Insert the New Battery: Place your new battery into the compartment and secure it with screws. Connect the battery to the motherboard ensuring a good fit.

  7. Reassemble Your Laptop: Carefully put the back cover on and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.

  8. Test Your Laptop: Power on your laptop to ensure it recognizes the new battery. If everything is working smoothly, you’re all set!

Remember, you don’t have to use the same model battery that originally came with the laptop, which makes replacement easier and more flexible.

By following these steps, you’ll have a new battery installed in no time, ready to power your gaming sessions. Enjoy your laptop’s renewed life!
