If you’re trying to copy some code or text from a webpage but the copy button isn’t working, don’t worry. Here’s a simple solution to get around this problem by manually copying the content.
First, locate the text or code you want to copy. You can do this by clicking and dragging your mouse over the content to highlight it. Once it’s highlighted, right-click on the selected area and choose “Copy” from the menu. Alternatively, after highlighting, you can press “Ctrl + C” on your keyboard.
If right-clicking isn’t helping because the copy option isn’t available or the copy button is broken, try using keyboard shortcuts directly. Highlight the content as before, then press “Ctrl + C” to copy it to your clipboard.
Now, open the document or place where you want to paste the content, such as a Word document, email, or notes app. Click to place your cursor there, then right-click and select “Paste,” or press “Ctrl + V” on your keyboard.
This manual method is straightforward and works even if the webpage’s copy button or features aren’t functioning correctly. Remember, highlighting the content manually is the most reliable way to copy text when other options fail.
