If you’re trying to figure out how to react to a message on a website but find the buttons confusing, here’s a simple guide to help you understand and use them easily.
On many websites, you’ll see options like thumbs up, thumbs down, laugh, hooray, confused, heart, rocket, and eyes. These are called reaction buttons, and they let you quickly share your feelings about a message or post.
To react, just click on the icon that matches your reaction. Each icon shows a small picture or emoji, like 👍 for thumbs up or ❤️ for love. When you click on one, it will lock in your reaction and display a number next to it — showing how many people have reacted with that icon so far.
In some cases, if you want to change your reaction or remove it, you can usually click the same icon again. This will toggle your reaction off. If you want to react differently, just click another icon.
It’s all built to be straightforward. Look for the icon you want to use, click on it once, and your reaction will be added. If you decide to change or remove it, click again.
This way, sharing your quick thoughts on messages or posts is fast and easy — no need to write a long comment unless you want to.
