If you encounter the message “recertification is not available at the moment” in AWS Cloud Quest, it usually means there’s an issue preventing you from moving forward with your recertification. This problem can happen for a couple of reasons.
First, it might be that you’re trying to use Cloud Quest for recertification, but the system isn’t recognizing your certification status or candidate ID properly. The platform needs to confirm that you have the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification and that you’re within the 6-month window to recertify. If this information isn’t verified correctly, access to recertification modules won’t be granted.
Second, there could be a technical glitch in the Cloud Quest platform itself. Sometimes, the environment experiences issues that block you from reaching the final module.
Here’s what you can do to fix this:
– Make sure you’re entering the correct candidate ID linked to your AWS certification.
– Check that your Cloud Practitioner certification is still within the 6-month window to recertify.
– Log out completely and then log back in to refresh your session.
– Try using a different web browser. Some users have reported better results switching from Edge to Chrome.
– If possible, restart the entire Cloud Quest.
If these steps don’t solve the problem, your best option is to contact the AWS Training Team directly through their official support channels. Certification issues or platform bugs can’t be fixed through community support alone and require assistance from AWS’s official team.
