How to Stop Apple Intelligence from Constantly Downloading

I recently purchased a new iPad Mini 7th generation, which features some cool Apple Intelligence updates. After I turned on this feature, it took a little while to download, but it seems to be working pretty well overall.

However, I ran into a minor issue. Every time I power off my iPad and then turn it back on, it displays a message that says Apple Intelligence is downloading. From what I’ve gathered, it seems to be updating the notification features because I’m not seeing the summary of notifications and the priority settings until this download completes.

This problem only occurs when I completely shut down the device and restart it. Fortunately, it’s not impacting the overall functionality; the new AI features work just fine, and I don’t often turn off my iPad.

If you’re experiencing a similar issue or have any suggestions, I’m all ears! I’ve tried a few troubleshooting methods already, such as force restarting the device by pressing the volume up, then down, and holding the power button until the Apple logo appears. I’ve also made sure I have the latest updates installed and toggled the Apple Intelligence feature off and on again.
