If you want to turn off Genmoji on your Apple device, here’s a simple guide to help you do that. Many users find that the suggested emojis or features can sometimes feel unnecessary or distracting. Luckily, disabling Genmoji is straightforward.

First, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Scroll down and tap on “General.” Within the General menu, look for “Keyboard” and select it. You’ll see a list of options related to your keyboard settings. Locate “Enable Dictation” and turn it off if you don’t want voice input to interfere, but more importantly, find the “Emoji” or “Predictive” options. If “Predictive” is turned on, it often suggests emojis or words as you type. Toggle off “Predictive” to stop the device from suggesting emojis and other predictions.

If you’re specifically talking about Genmoji, which is an AI-powered emoji suggestion feature, it might be part of a third-party app or a specific keyboard. In that case, go to your keyboard settings and look for third-party keyboard options. Tap on the keyboard app you’re using and see if there’s an option to disable Genmoji or AI features.

To generally reduce AI-driven suggestions and keep things simple, you can:

– Turn off predictive text by toggling off “Predictive” in the Keyboard settings.
– Remove any third-party keyboards you don’t want by selecting “Keyboards” in Settings > General and deleting or disabling them.
– Reset your keyboard dictionary if you notice unwanted suggestions by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

Remember, the goal is to keep your device straightforward and comfortable for you. By adjusting these features, you can enjoy a more familiar and simple experience without unnecessary AI suggestions popping up all the time.
