If you want to create an AWS account that will be linked to a payer account for consolidated billing, you don’t need to enter your payment information during setup. When you get to the part asking for your credit card details, just skip that step by navigating away from the page. There’s no need to input any personal payment information at this stage.
To finish setting up, you just need the email address of your payer account. Use this email to send a request for a linked account or consolidated billing. This method allows you to create an account for your internal use without relying on your personal credit card, since the billing will be managed through the payer account’s consolidated billing system.
This way, you can set up your AWS account smoothly and keep your payment details separate from the account creation process.
