If you encounter the “Unexpected error” page with the message s=ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK while trying to schedule your Microsoft exam, it usually means your Pearson VUE account has been blocked. This often happens if there were several failed payment attempts or other account issues.
To fix this problem, you’ll need to get in touch with Pearson VUE support to have the block removed. You can do this through the support link found on the Microsoft Certification Support page at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport. Once you contact them, explain the issue and ask for the block to be lifted.
After Pearson VUE clears the problem and confirms your account is unblocked, go back to the Microsoft Learn exam scheduling page and try to book your exam again. This should resolve the error and allow you to proceed smoothly.
