If you’re a startup using AWS Activate credits, you might be wondering how these credits work when subscribing to services like Kiro. I have a $600 credit balance on my AWS account (region: us-east-1) and want to make sure my credits will cover my subscription before I commit.

From what I’ve read, AWS Activate credits can be used for Kiro subscriptions, but there’s a warning about selecting plans that are higher than Kiro Pro+. Specifically, it says that if you choose a plan above Kiro Pro+, you might be charged extra outside of your credits. This has left me confused because I noticed Kiro Power is a higher tier than Kiro Pro+, so I need to verify if my credits will cover the Power plan.

Here are the key questions I need answered:

1. Do AWS Activate credits apply to all Kiro plans, including Pro, Pro+, and Power?
2. Will my $600 credit automatically pay for the Kiro Power plan ($200 per month) until the credits run out?
3. Or does choosing the Power plan mean I’ll be responsible for paying the difference out of pocket from the start?

I want to subscribe to Kiro Power, but I need clear confirmation that my credits will cover the cost before making a decision. I haven’t signed up for any Kiro plan yet and want to avoid unexpected charges.

Currently, my AWS Activate credits are at $600, and I plan to subscribe to the Kiro Power plan in the us-east-1 region. Any official information clarifying this would be very helpful!
