Creating a QR code that quickly shares contact information is a handy skill, especially if you often meet new people. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you generate a QR code for your contact details using your iPhone.

First, you need to open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. If you haven’t installed it yet, you can download it free from the App Store. Once you have the Shortcuts app open, look for the option called “Make QR Code” and tap on it.

Next, from the menu that appears, select “Add Contact.” This will allow you to choose or input the contact information you want to share. Tap on the contact you wish to include in the QR code, and then you’ll see an option to share this information.

To do this, find the Share icon in the lower-left corner of the screen and tap on it. You’ll be given several options for sharing. Choose the one that works best for you, like saving the QR code image or sharing it directly through messaging or email.

By following these easy steps, you can quickly generate a QR code that anyone can scan to get your contact details. It’s a simple way to exchange information efficiently and without typing long phone numbers or email addresses.
