If you’re having trouble installing Windows on your new Victus laptop, don’t worry—it’s a common issue that can usually be fixed with a few simple steps. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you get Windows up and running smoothly.

First, double-check that your installation media is working properly. Whether you’re using a USB flash drive or DVD, make sure it has the latest Windows installation files. You can create a new bootable USB drive using the official Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft’s website.

Next, before starting the installation, go into your BIOS settings. To do this, restart your laptop and press the appropriate key—usually F2, F12, ESC, or DEL—immediately as the Lenovo logo appears. Once you’re in the BIOS, look for the boot order menu. Make sure your USB drive or DVD is set as the first boot device.

While you’re there, check if Secure Boot is enabled. If it is, disable it temporarily, as it can sometimes prevent Windows from installing properly. Also, turn off Fast Boot if that option is available.

Save your changes and restart your computer with the installation media plugged in. When it boots up, follow the on-screen instructions to begin installing Windows. If you encounter any errors, write down the error message; it can help you troubleshoot further.

If the installation still doesn’t work, try formatting your drive during the setup process. Be aware that this will erase everything on that drive, so back up any important files beforehand. To do this, select the drive where you want to install Windows when prompted, and choose the ‘Format’ option.

Lastly, ensure your laptop meets all the basic requirements for the Windows version you are installing. If your hardware is incompatible or outdated, it may cause issues during installation.

If you’ve gone through these steps and still can’t install Windows, consider reaching out to the manufacturer’s support team or visiting a professional technician. They can help diagnose whether there’s a hardware problem or other underlying issue. Remember, sometimes a fresh Windows installation takes a bit of patience and careful troubleshooting, but with these steps, you’ll be on your way to a smooth setup.
