Did you notice that the cool glow effect disappeared after updating your iPhone to iOS 26? If so, you’re not alone. Sometimes, new software updates can cause certain features or visual effects to change or turn off entirely. The good news is, there’s a simple way to try and bring that glow back.

First, check your settings. Many visual effects are controlled through the display or accessibility options. Head over to your Settings app, then tap on Display & Brightness. Look for any options related to visual effects, animations, or motion. Make sure they are turned on or set to your preferred level.

Next, consider checking if there’s a specific feature related to the glow effect. Some features might be part of a new display setting or a gesture option. If you’re not sure, look for updates or notes from Apple about what changed in iOS 26. Sometimes, visual effects are moved or renamed in new versions.

If you still don’t see the glow, try restarting your phone. This can sometimes reset features and apply new settings correctly. Turn your device off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Finally, if all else fails, visit the Apple Community or support pages. Sometimes, a bug or software glitch can cause features to disappear. Apple often releases quick patches or workarounds for these issues.

By checking your settings, restarting your phone, and staying updated on support news, you can troubleshoot the missing glow effect and hopefully restore that cool visual feature.
