Having trouble with Siri not responding for WhatsApp? If Siri isn’t working when you try to use it with WhatsApp, don’t worry. Here are some simple steps to fix the issue.
First, make sure Siri is enabled on your iPhone. To do this, go to Settings, tap on Siri & Search, and check that Listen for “Hey Siri” and Press Side Button for Siri are turned on.
Next, check if Siri is allowed to access WhatsApp. While still in Settings under Siri & Search, scroll down to find WhatsApp. Make sure it is enabled for Use with Siri.
Now, ensure WhatsApp has the necessary permissions. Open Settings, go to Privacy, tap on Microphone, and make sure WhatsApp is turned on. This allows Siri to send your voice commands to WhatsApp.
Sometimes, the problem might be with your internet connection. Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi or cellular connection so Siri can communicate properly.
If Siri still doesn’t respond, try restarting your iPhone. Turning it off and on again can fix temporary glitches.
You can also reset Siri’s settings. Go back to Settings > Siri & Search. Turn off Listen for “Hey Siri,” then turn it back on. Follow the instructions to set it up again.
Finally, make sure your iPhone is running the latest software. Check for updates in Settings > General > Software Update, and install any available updates.
By following these easy steps, you should be able to get Siri to respond to WhatsApp again. If the problem persists, contacting Apple Support might be the next best step.
