If you’re experiencing problems with a recent update that keeps showing pop-up messages even after it has been successfully installed, there’s a simple way to fix it. You can either ignore the pop-ups or disable them altogether.
First, open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard. Once Task Manager is open, click on the “Startup” tab. Look for an entry called “HP Display Control” or “HPDC_Service.” When you find it, right-click on it and select “Disable.”
After disabling the service, restart your computer. This will stop the pop-up messages from appearing without affecting the main functions of your system or the software.
If you want to check for updates later, you can manually do so. When a newer version is available, just repeat the process to re-enable or update as needed. This quick fix helps keep your computer running smoothly while preventing annoying notifications.
