If you suspect your computer needs a fresh set of UEFI diagnostic tools, it’s a good idea to check if there’s an updated version available. Manufacturers like HP regularly release new UEFI diagnostics to help identify hardware issues more effectively.
To get the latest diagnostics, restart your computer and press F2 during startup to enter the UEFI diagnostics menu. However, before running the tests, make sure your diagnostics are up-to-date. You can do this by visiting the official HP support page for hardware diagnostics. Look for the phrase “issues outside the OS” and click the download link. The page will show the current version of the diagnostic package. Before running the diagnostic tool, verify that the version installed on your device matches the latest one listed.
If you’re experiencing problems with your hard drive or storage, I recommend trying a free tool called Disk Sentinel. It can help you check the health of your disks and identify potential issues early.
Feel free to share what you find or if the updates help resolve your problems. We’re here to support you through the troubleshooting process.
