Having trouble with your keyboard layout? If your keyboard is typing characters incorrectly, the problem might be because your Windows computer is set to the wrong keyboard layout. Here’s how you can fix it:
First, go to your Settings. You can find this by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the gear icon. Once in Settings, choose “Time & Language.” Then, click on “Language & Region” or simply “Language.”
Look for the section called “Preferred Languages” or “Keyboard Settings.” Make sure that “Portuguese (Brazil) ABNT2” is selected as your input method. If there are other keyboard layouts listed, remove them to prevent confusion.
After making these changes, restart your laptop. When it starts up again, your keyboard should work properly with the correct characters showing when you type.
