Here’s a simple way to fix your HP display update issue.
First, download the HP Display Center. When you do this, it will automatically download a firmware update that takes your monitor from version 1.0.4.0 to 1.0.6.0. It won’t jump straight to the latest version, which is 1.0.8.0, but don’t worry. Just let the update run—it might take about 30 minutes as it installs the scaler.
Once that update is complete, open the Omen Gaming Hub. Sometimes, the Display Center won’t show any more updates after the first one, so this is a good step. In the Omen Gaming Hub, check for updates again. Now, it should offer you the option to update from 1.0.6.0 to 1.0.8.0. Just like before, this update will focus on the scaler and should also take around 30 minutes.
Following these steps will help you update your monitor to the latest firmware version smoothly. It might take some time, but patience pays off. Just make sure each update finishes completely before moving on to the next step.
