If you’re using your device in ‘Unleashed’ or ‘Performance’ mode, it’s important to understand how the power system works. These modes are designed to give your device extra power when needed. They do this by drawing energy from both the wall outlet and the battery at the same time. There’s a slider setting within these modes that lets you control how much extra battery power can be used, between 10% and 40%. This means the system is pulling the maximum power from the wall while also using some additional energy from the battery, giving your device more power than the charger alone can supply.
On the other hand, if you switch to ‘Balanced’ or ‘ECO’ mode, the device keeps the battery fully charged at 100% while still connected to power. This setting is helpful if you want to protect your battery from draining or excessive charging, but it might mean your device doesn’t get the extra burst of power available in the other modes.
Keep in mind that your power adapter is rated for only 150 watts. That’s a limit on how much power can be supplied at once, which explains why the device uses a combination of power from the wall and battery in certain modes. Using these modes wisely can help manage your device’s performance and battery health effectively.
