If you’re encountering an InternalServerError while using Vision Studio, don’t worry — it’s often related to the backend service rather than your setup. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve the issue easily.
First, try opening Vision Studio in an InPrivate or incognito browser window. Sign in with the same account details you use for your Computer Vision or Azure AI resources. This helps rule out any browser caching or cookie problems that might be causing the error.
Next, check that you’ve created an Azure AI services (multi-service) resource in a supported region like East US or West Europe. Make sure you didn’t accidentally set up a legacy single Computer Vision resource, as these can sometimes cause issues.
Once you confirm the right resource is in place, go to Vision Studio’s settings. Here, you should rebind or select your Azure AI resource again. This step ensures that Vision Studio is connected to the correct service.
If the error persists even after these steps — especially when trying a new browser or network — it’s likely a platform problem on Microsoft’s side. In that case, the best move is to contact Azure support and open a ticket. Provide the details of your setup and the error message so the support team can check logs and help you get everything working smoothly again.
