If you’re trying to stop notifications from a website or browser tab, there are simple steps to do so. Whether you’re receiving unwanted alerts or just want to manage which sites can send you notifications, here’s what you can do:
First, locate the notification settings on your browser. Usually, you can find this in the browser menu under ‘Settings’ or ‘Preferences’. Look for a section called ‘Privacy and Security’ or something similar.
Once you’re there, find the ‘Site Settings’ or ‘Permissions’ option. Inside this, you should see a ‘Notifications’ section. Here, you’ll see a list of websites that have permission to send notifications.
Next, you can do one of two things. If you want to block notifications from a specific website, click on the site and choose ‘Block’ or toggle the setting off. To stop all notifications from all websites, toggle the overall notification option to ‘Blocked’ or ‘Off’.
After making these changes, save your settings, and your browser will no longer display notifications from those sites. This way, you can enjoy peace and quiet and prevent any unwanted interruptions while browsing.
