If you find yourself needing to react to a discussion message with emojis, but those options aren’t immediately visible or are hard to find, don’t worry—you can easily add reactions manually. Here’s a simple way to do it:
First, locate the message you want to react to. Usually, reactions like thumbs up, thumbs down, smile, or heart are available, but in some cases, you might need to add them yourself.
Look for a reaction icon or a plus (+) icon near the message or post. If you see it, click on it.
A menu with a selection of common reactions will pop up—such as 👍, 👎, 😄, 🎉, 😕, ❤️, 🚀, or 👀. If you don’t see the reaction you want, some platforms allow you to click a “More” option or an emoji picker to choose a reaction not already listed.
Select the emoji that best expresses your feeling or reply.
Once your reaction is added, you might see a small number indicating how many other people reacted with that emoji.
If you need to remove your reaction, simply click your emoji again, and it should toggle off. That way, your reactions are flexible depending on how you want to communicate your thoughts.
Using reactions is a quick way to give feedback or show your thoughts without typing a full reply. It saves time and helps keep conversations engaging and fun. Just follow these simple steps, and you’ll be reacting like a pro in no time!
