If you have a DeskJet 2800e All-In-One printer and want to connect it to your own WiFi network, follow these simple steps to set it up easily:

First, make sure your printer is turned on. If it’s not already, press the power button to turn it on.

Next, on the printer, locate the wireless button or icon. Usually, it’s a symbol that looks like a WiFi signal. Press and hold this button until the wireless light starts blinking. This indicates that the printer is in wireless setup mode.

Now, on your computer or mobile device, open your WiFi settings. You’ll want to connect to the printer’s temporary network. This network typically appears with the printer model name. Connect to this network so your device can communicate with the printer directly.

Once connected, open your preferred web browser and go to the printer’s IP address. If you’re unsure what this is, you can find it by printing a network configuration page from the printer. Usually, you can do this by pressing the wireless button and maintaining it for a few seconds or by navigating through the printer’s menu.

When the configuration page opens, look for the wireless setup section. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your home WiFi network. You’ll need to select your WiFi network from the list and enter the password.

After successfully connecting, return your device to your home WiFi network. The printer’s wireless light should become steady, indicating it’s connected to your network.

Finally, on your computer or mobile device, open your printing app or go to your device’s WiFi settings. Make sure the device is connected to your home WiFi, then select the printer from the list of available devices. You should now be able to print wirelessly from your devices.

If you prefer using the HP Smart app, make sure it’s updated. Open the app, and it should prompt you to add a new printer. Follow the steps within the app to connect your printer to your WiFi network. The app makes the process straightforward and guides you through each step.

By following these simple instructions, your DeskJet 2800e will be connected to your WiFi, making printing from your devices quick and easy!
