If you’re using Eas_v6 and Das_v6 VM sizes in Azure and wondering if you can set up disaster recovery, the good news is that Azure Site Recovery (ASR) fully supports these VM types. ASR can protect any supported Azure VM type for disaster recovery from Azure to Azure, as long as the VM size is available in your region and you follow the standard setup requirements.
Azure’s official documentation confirms that ASR supports disaster recovery for any Azure VM size, including Eas_v6 and Das_v6 series. To enable replication, you can use the Azure portal, PowerShell, or REST API—whichever is most convenient for you. As long as the VM size is supported in your region and replication is correctly configured, you’re good to go.
Since both the Das_v6 and Eas_v6 VM series are available and supported by Azure Site Recovery, you can confidently replicate these VMs just like any other supported Azure VM. Setting this up ensures your VMs are protected and can quickly recover from any issues.
