If you’re printing on a roll using the HP T230 and need to print sizes like A2 or other custom sizes, you might notice that the printer automatically positions the image on the left side of the paper. This can be frustrating if you want your print to be centered or aligned differently.

Here’s a simple solution to fix this issue:

First, when preparing your print, check your print settings. Look for options related to image placement or alignment. Most printing software or driver settings have an option to adjust the position of your image on the page. Choose the option that allows you to manually move or align your image.

If your software doesn’t give enough control, try creating a new document or canvas that matches your desired print size but with extra blank space on the sides where you want to shift your image. Then, position your image within this space to be centered or aligned as you like.

Another key step is to use the image editing or printing software’s alignment tools. Usually, these let you position the image in the middle or move it towards the right or left as needed before printing.

Finally, always preview your print before printing the final version. Check if the image appears where you want it to, and then proceed with printing.

This approach gives you more control over your image placement and ensures your prints come out exactly how you envision, whether it’s centered or aligned to a specific edge.
