If you recently updated your iPad to iOS 26 and noticed that the Apple Intelligence feature isn’t showing up in your settings, don’t worry. It can be confusing when updates change how things are displayed, but there are simple steps you can follow to find and enable it.
First, check if the feature is available in a different section of your settings. Sometimes, updates move or rename features, so try looking through all the options, especially under Privacy, Siri & Search, or Notifications.
If you still can’t find it, restart your iPad. To do this, press and hold the power button until the slide to power off slider appears. Slide to turn off, then press the power button again to turn it back on. Restarting can often make new features appear properly.
Next, make sure your iPad is running the latest version of iOS 26. Sometimes, not all updates are installed correctly, and a simple fresh update can fix the problem. Go to Settings > General > Software Update, and if there’s an update available, tap Download and Install.
If after these steps you still don’t see Apple Intelligence options, it might be that the feature is now integrated into other parts of the system or has been renamed. Check Apple’s official support pages or your device’s user guide for the latest info about what features are included with iOS 26.
Remember, new updates often bring changes that can take some getting used to. If you still have questions, reaching out to Apple Support can give you personalized help for your specific device.
