The first thing you’ll need to do is find the hardware IDs for the unknown devices. These IDs will help you figure out which drivers are needed for your system.

Here’s how to locate the hardware ID:

  1. Open Device Manager: You can access Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting it from the list that appears.

  2. Find the Unknown Devices: Look for any devices marked with a yellow warning icon. These are your unknown devices.

  3. Check Properties: Right-click on one of the unknown devices, and select “Properties.”

  4. Locate Hardware ID: In the Properties window, go to the “Details” tab. In the Property drop-down menu, select "Hardware Ids." This will display a list of IDs.

  5. Note Them Down: Write down the hardware IDs or take a screenshot, as you’ll need them to search for the appropriate drivers.

Once you have the hardware IDs, you can begin your search for the necessary drivers. You can use websites dedicated to driver downloads or check the manufacturer’s website for your device.

For a specific device known as the Base System Device, you may require the JMicron Card Reader Driver. This is a common driver that’s essential for certain hardware to function properly.
