If you’ve just got a new tablet and want to set up your HP Smart app to manage your printing needs, you’re in the right place. Here’s a simple guide to help you seamlessly get HP Smart on your new device.

Start by downloading the HP Smart app from the app store. Whether you’re using an Android or an iOS tablet, just search for “HP Smart” in the store and click “Install.”

Once it’s downloaded, open the app. You’ll likely need to log in or create an HP account if you don’t have one. Follow the prompts on your screen to set up your account. This will let you manage your printers and check ink levels easily.

Next, make sure your tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your HP printer. This step is crucial because the app needs to communicate with your printer over the network. If they’re not on the same Wi-Fi, you won’t be able to print.

After you’ve connected to the Wi-Fi, go back to the HP Smart app. Tap on the plus sign (+) or “Add Printer” option. The app will search for printers on your network. When it finds your printer, select it to connect. The app should guide you through any additional setup steps.

Now that your printer is added, you can explore the app’s features. You can print documents, scan items, and even order ink directly through HP Smart.

If you encounter any issues during the setup, double-check that both your tablet and printer are on the same network and that your printer is powered on. You can also restart your devices to refresh the connection.

With these steps, you should have your HP Smart app added and ready to go on your new tablet. Enjoy printing from the comfort of your hands!
