If your notebook isn’t working properly, you can restore it to its original state using the HP cloud recovery tool. This tool helps you create a bootable USB drive that, when used, will reset your laptop to the way it was when you first bought it. Here’s how you can do it:
First, you need a USB flash drive with at least 32 GB of storage. Make sure it’s empty or that you’ve backed up any important files, as the process will erase everything on the drive.
Next, download the HP cloud recovery tool. You can find it in the Microsoft Store by searching for “HP Cloud Recovery Tool” or by clicking this link: Download HP Cloud Recovery Tool.
Since your laptop isn’t working, you’ll need to perform this setup on another working PC. During the setup, you will be asked to enter your laptop’s product number to link the recovery drive to your device. Your product number is usually on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop or in the original packaging. For your specific model, it’s 8F506PA#ACJ.
Once you enter the product number and follow the prompts, the software will guide you through creating the recovery drive. After it’s ready, insert the USB flash drive into the problematic laptop, restart it, and boot from the USB. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device to its factory settings.
This process is a straightforward way to get your laptop back to its original condition without needing to contact support or perform complicated steps.
