Having some trouble with the G62 device? Let me walk you through some solutions based on common issues users have experienced.
First, if you notice that your Poly device isn’t starting up after a reboot—whether you do a soft or hard restart—and only works when Display 1 isn’t connected, you’re not alone. This can be frustrating, but a simple workaround is to disconnect Display 1 before rebooting. Once the device has fully booted up, you can reconnect Display 1. Some users have also found that using different software versions might help, as both 4.6 and 4.4.3 versions seem to show this issue. Unfortunately, the root cause isn’t fully understood, but avoiding connecting Display 1 during reboot may keep your device running smoothly.
The second problem involves connecting QSC NV USB Video Bridges for camera feeds. If they aren’t appearing as fully compatible, you might notice this in your device logs. A quick fix many have used is to temporarily revert to version 4.4.3—this seems to help get the camera feed working. However, if you’d prefer to stay on the latest version, stay tuned as this issue might be addressed in upcoming software updates.
If you’re facing Problem 1, disconnecting Display 1 before restarting your device could save you some headaches. For the camera compatibility issue, downgrading to version 4.4.3 is a practical workaround. Keep an eye out for future updates from the manufacturer, as many bugs are typically fixed in newer releases.
