The “Dual Destiny” season of Pokémon GO is in full swing, and it’s getting even more exciting with the introduction of a new event called “Young & Wise.” This season features a mix of dynamic events, including Community Days, a return of Hoopa Unbound, the introduction of more Gigantamax Pokémon, and new arrivals like Sinistea in the “Just My Cup of Tea” event. The upcoming four-day event offers Trainers a perfect opportunity to catch numerous baby Pokémon and other hard-to-find creatures that some players may have missed previously, making it an excellent chance to expand your Pokédex.

In addition to this event, Pokémon GO has a lot going on, including this month’s Spotlight Hour schedule and various Max Monday bosses. The Young & Wise event specifically allows participants to catch and hatch a variety of Pokémon that traditionally have been challenging to obtain, such as Munchlax, the pre-evolution of Snorlax, and Wyrdeer, the evolution of Stantler. If you’re a casual player looking to add more Pokémon or shiny variants to your collection, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Young & Wise Date & Time

Four Days This Week

The Young & Wise event kicks off in Pokémon GO on Tuesday, December 10 at 10:00 AM and will run until Saturday, December 14 at 8:00 PM. These times correspond to each player’s local timezone, allowing everyone the chance to participate without worrying about timezone conversions.

During this event, players will have four days to fully enjoy special raids and hatch 2KM Eggs. Additional bonuses will make this event even more enticing for Trainers.

Everything Else Happening During The Young & Wise Event

Bonuses, Field Research, & More

There’s also a variety of other features you can explore during the Young & Wise event. Bonuses include double XP for hatching Eggs and double XP for winning Raids. This is the perfect time to take advantage of your Incubators and Raid Passes to be as productive as possible in leveling up your Trainer.

It’s important to note that a Pokémon’s fate in an Egg is determined when you obtain it. Therefore, if you hold onto an Egg obtained during Young & Wise until after December 14 to hatch it, it can still yield one of the Pokémon listed above.

The Young & Wise event will also feature themed Field Research tasks that reward players with encounters featuring event Pokémon, along with Collection Challenges that offer XP and additional encounters. Specifics on the Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges have yet to be announced, but they will likely focus on hatching and capturing Pokémon associated with the 2KM Eggs and raid bosses. Make sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 10 at 10:00 AM in Pokémon GO to take full advantage of all that the Young & Wise event has to offer!
