Exploring the regions of Mira can quickly help you gain the necessary experience to meet Liesel’s requirements.
A simple way to level up and reach the character recruitment requirements is by improving the Survey Rate of a specific area. Completing missions associated with map Segments will consistently award you with Credits and Experience, allowing for rapid leveling.
You can recruit Liesel after finishing the “New Skell on the Block” quest. This is an Affinity Quest, a special type of mission tied to character recruitment or relationship building with existing party members. These missions typically include full cutscenes, dialogue, and other features that set them apart from other aspects of gameplay in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Bringing Liesel onto your team also grants access to a new Skell — a type of mech used for battles in the game. Skells are typically challenging to obtain, so prioritizing this recruitment mission can help you acquire a powerful weapon early in your journey.
How To Recruit NeilNail

Once you’ve satisfied these conditions, visit BLADE Tower in New Los Angeles and search for an Affinity Quest. You should find one named “The Qlurian Archaeologist” in the BLADE Concourse area. Using the Definitive Edition‘s updated user interface will help you navigate and locate the quest with ease.
The Affinity Mission is located near the BLADE Barracks, just below areas like the Armory Alley and the Restricted Hangar Entrance in BLADE Tower.
Complete the “The Qlurian Archaeologist” mission to recruit NeilNail and add them to your party. While you don’t need anyone specific in your party for this mission, be aware that Celica cannot be in your group during this quest, adding a slight restriction.
How To Recruit Ga Jirag & Alexa
