If you don’t spend money on gacha games like Arknights: Endfield, it can be pretty hard to get many six-star characters in your account. But if you’re patient, there’s a way to start your account with a six-star using a reroll method.
In this process, you create new accounts and play until you reach a certain point in the game to get some pulls. With these pulls, you try your luck to get a six-star character early on from the banners. If you’re successful, it sets your account up nicely for later progress.
How to Reroll in Arknights: Endfield
Unfortunately, like many recent gacha games, Arknights: Endfield doesn’t allow you to create guest accounts for unlimited rerolls. Instead, you’ll need to use an email address to create a new account for each reroll, which you can do from the starting screen.
To start a reroll, open the game and click the Register button on the login screen. If you’re already logged into an account, log out first. During registration, enter your email and input the verification code sent to it, then choose a password to create the account.
Tip: You can reroll twice on different servers with the same account if you don’t have a preference for a specific server and if high ping isn’t an issue.
You can also use the same email for up to four different accounts by:
- Creating one account through the in-game login.
- Logging into the other three accounts directly via the Google, Facebook, or Apple icons at the login screen.
Each method starts you fresh, so you don’t need multiple emails. During reroll sessions, you can decide when to stop depending on your goal:
| Reroll Size | Approximate Time | When to Stop | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | About 30 minutes | After unlocking your first TP point and the Headhunt system. At this stage, you’ll have 20 pulls on the basic banner plus a multi for the beginner banner, mainly for early six-star characters. | |
| Medium | 40-50 minutes | After completing the Rally and Unite missions, which unlock more pulls. You’ll have the same chance as the small reroll but slightly longer. | |
| Large | Over 2 hours | Until you complete the Paving The Way main quest. It offers enough pulls to get a six-star on the standard banner, and if you don’t get who you want, you can redo the process. |
What to Reroll For
When starting out, many players hope for strong characters on the limited banner, but in Arknights: Endfield, the output is quite varied. It’s generally not worth rerolling for characters on the limited banner since you might spend over an hour just to get ten pulls.
However, if you want a specific character on the standard banner or are aiming for an early six-star among the five standard units, rerolling can be worthwhile. You can reroll for your favorite, but here’s a ranked list based on the game’s meta:
- Last Rite
- Pogranichnik
- Ember
- Lifeng
- Ardelia
While Ardelia is arguably the best on the standard banner, she’s also given for free through daily login, so rerolling for her isn’t necessary.
