Meeting Mitchell Linn
Your first encounter with Mitchell Linn will involve a brief food quiz. When you find him, he’ll be sipping a white wine with peach notes, and you’ll need to choose the correct wine from a multiple-choice list. The right answer is Sauvignon Blanc—getting it wrong won’t sit well with him.
After identifying the wine, you’ll need to select a snack to pair with it. Tell him that Sauvignon Blanc pairs nicely with goat cheese, and don’t forget to mention crackers as a side.
Be careful—getting these questions wrong could block your chance at Mitchell’s ending!

How to Change Your Relationship with Mitchell Linn
Similar to other characters in “Date Everything!”, Mitchell Linn has three unique endings. It’s crucial to correctly pair the wine and cheese during your first meeting; otherwise, you’ll end up stuck in a friendship route, even if you excel later on in the game.
Love
To achieve Mitchell Linn’s love ending, you must get the wine and cheese pairing right the first time. If you miss it, he will want to be just friends, regardless of how smoothly everything else goes. Assuming you did well initially, express your flirtation with Mitchell whenever you can.
You’ll also need to demonstrate your culinary knowledge, so make sure to provide correct answers during your dining experiences together.
During your fourth visit, he might call you “mon cheri.” Respond that you like the sound of that. When he asks if you think there’s a connection between food and love, say that the two are an act of love after saying he can express his thoughts.
In your fourth or fifth meeting, mention how you felt the same connection he did, referring to the electric chemistry between you. When he tries to call it a night, say it doesn’t have to end, then engage him again to continue progressing the relationship.
In your final meeting with Mitchell Linn, he’ll share his reviews with you before asking for your feedback. To finalize his love story, opt for “I’d like to make a reservation… a romantic dinner for two?”
Friend
Should you mess up the wine and cheese pairing during your first meeting, you will be locked into the friend ending no matter how things progress later. As a true food connoisseur, Mitchell needs to see your appreciation for culinary arts, so align your responses during the restaurant dates and help him review the dining experiences.
Avoid getting flirty when he calls you “mon cheri” to keep the friendship path intact. Even in your last meeting, he’ll still want to hear how you view him as a person after sharing his restaurant reviews.
If friendship is your goal, simply say you find him enjoyable, as a buddy to secure Mitchell Linn’s friend ending in “Date Everything!”
Hate
It’s surprisingly easy to drive Mitchell Linn away—if you’re rude during your restaurant visits or get too many answers wrong, you could trigger his hate ending early. He won’t spend time with someone careless about food!
If you manage to get through his storyline without him hating you, he’ll share his food reviews during your last meeting and ask for your thoughts. To lock in his hate ending in “Date Everything!”, you need to say, “I’m afraid your five-star rating is about to suffer.”
