Anime continues to rise in popularity, with new series being introduced every year, making a significant mark on the anime fanbase. Since its debut in 2017, Black Clover has expanded to four seasons and boasts over 100 episodes. Although the last episode aired in 2021, fans can still enjoy a movie.

Where can you watch all the episodes? In this guide, we’ll explore the streaming platforms where you can find Black Clover, along with information about the movie, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which was released in 2023.

How Many Episodes of Black Clover Are There?

As noted earlier, there are four seasons. Below are the episode counts for each one.

As of now, there are rumors suggesting that a fifth season may be on the way. While this is still unconfirmed, it’s important to keep in mind that the manga continues to be published.

This totals 170 episodes and one movie.

Where to Stream Black Clover

You can find Black Clover on the following streaming platforms:

  • Crunchyroll
  • Netflix
  • Hulu
  • Prime Video

Crunchyroll

If you’re a big anime fan, Crunchyroll is the top choice for watching Black Clover. All seasons are available with a subscription that starts at $7.99. Crunchyroll also offers a free seven-day trial.

The first 25 episodes of Black Clover can be watched for free on Crunchyroll, allowing you to try out the series before committing to all 170 episodes. However, watching for free does include ads, and there’s no time limit on these free episodes.

We recommend watching the first 25 episodes and then using the free trial to continue before subscribing.

Netflix

Netflix is another popular option, especially for viewers who enjoy more than just anime. There is no free version of Netflix, so you won’t have access to the initial 25 episodes as you would with Crunchyroll. Furthermore, Netflix does not provide a free trial.

At a minimum, you’ll need to subscribe at $7.99, which comes with ads. Interestingly, you can get an ad-free subscription on Crunchyroll for the same price.

Hulu

Black Clover is also available on Hulu, but you won’t find the first season there. Instead, only seasons two, three, and four are offered. The cheapest Hulu subscription includes ads and costs $9.99. Given the price and lack of the first season, it’s not the best option just for Black Clover.

Hulu does provide a free trial, but the duration varies based on which plan you choose.

Prime Video

Finally, you can watch Black Clover on Prime Video. However, this is likely the least favorable option, as you have to pay for each episode (around $3) or purchase a season (about $15 to $20). For some reason, the seasons are categorized differently, leading to a total of 16 seasons listed.

At the moment, the only platform streaming Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is Netflix. If you already subscribe to Netflix, you’re all set. If not, you can opt for the lowest tier subscription to watch it with ads.
