One of the most exciting features introduced in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 compared to its previous remake is the inclusion of Pro Goals. After completing the main objectives on each map, players can engage with these Pro Goals, which add a fresh level of challenge to the game, featuring completely new tasks that require skill and focus.
Pro Goals often involve extra collectible missions for players to undertake, similar to the Secret Tapes or Iron Galaxy Logos scattered throughout each park. For instance, an early Pro Goal on the Canada map tasks players with finding Peter’s Thermos and returning it to him. This task may prove trickier than it appears, particularly if you’re unsure of where to locate either the thermos or Peter himself.
Locating Peter’s Thermos in THPS 3+4
Peter’s Location Near the Secret Ramp in Canada
On the Canada map, players may find it slightly frustrating trying to complete the Pro Goal related to Peter’s Thermos. The Pro Goal Flythrough doesn’t provide much detail about its location, and with such a large map, it can be challenging to search efficiently. Even after securing the thermos, you must find Peter to complete the task. Be cautious—if you wipe out or bail, you’ll have to retrieve the thermos again from its original spot.
Peter’s position should be somewhat familiar if you remember the Canada map from the original THPS 3 game. He is next to the “secret area” you previously accessed while completing the main objectives. Peter is waiting at the edge of the ramp leading to the raised half-pipe, which you activated earlier by hitting the nearby switch. He’ll remain there until you return his thermos.
The thermos can be found in the parking lot with two sets of red handrails and small cars parked at the bottom of the hill.
The thermos itself is located on the opposite side of the map, in the parking lot near the two sets of red handrails and compact cars. It sits atop a red car at the bottom, and you just need to skate by it to pick it up—this part is straightforward.

Avoid Falling into the Icy Water, or You’ll Have to Start Over
Once you have the thermos, your next task is to return it to Peter in the previously mentioned location. The catch is that if you fall, you’ll need to go back and retrieve the thermos again. Figuring out the best route to Peter can be tricky due to various obstacles, including a large patch of icy water and steep cliffs you might tumble off if you’re not careful.
You could use the No Bails Game Mod to avoid falling with the thermos, but that’s not how true players roll.
The easiest path to take is up the hill and through the Over the Hill gap, where you can ramp up to the wooden path leading directly to Peter. However, if you’re up for some risk, you could head back to the starting ramp, go through the tree hole, and make a series of jumps directly to the end of the pathway where Peter waits for his drink.
Regardless of the route you choose, Peter will be thankful once you deliver the thermos. He will actually disappear from the map after you return it. You don’t need to worry about inadvertently falling off the ledge since the Pro Goal will be marked as complete as soon as you hand it over. That’s all there is to it, and you’ll be one step closer to accomplishing all the Pro Goals in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.
