Keep in mind, it may take some time before luck strikes, so patience is key.
Note: You can only gather one map every 18 hours real-world time. If you’ve recently collected one, you’ll have to wait until the timer resets before you can find another.

If you’re not maxed out in gathering skills or want more maps quickly, you can buy them from the Market Board. This is a good option if you’re looking to save time or if you want to make some profit by selling the maps, especially since they become very popular when released.
How To Decipher And Use Timeworn Gargantuaskin Treasure Maps
Once you have a Treasure Map in your inventory, right-click it and select “Decipher” to reveal the treasure location. After deciphering, the map becomes a Key Item, meaning you can’t sell or trade it anymore.
You can view your deciphered map at any time from the Key Items menu. Use it to compare with the full map of Living Memory and search for the indicated area. When you’ve located the spot, use the ‘Dig’ action to unearth the treasure chest.
Opening the chest will trigger waves of enemies that you need to defeat before claiming your loot. Sometimes, defeating these monsters or opening the chest will also spawn the Vault Oneiron Treasure Dungeon.
Tip: Stick to a group of at least eight players to improve your chances of defeating all the enemies and successfully obtaining the treasure.
