After completing the Arc Raiders tutorial and entering Speranza, Shani will be your first main contact. She will give you several quests to help you get used to the environment. Some quests only ask you to defeat enemies, while others require you to go to specific locations on the map.

– Main extraction points, marked by a larger icon with an arrow inside brackets or, later in the game, a fan symbol.
– Smaller symbols, which show an arrow on top of a circle, representing escape hatches.
The second icon is found on any map and shows you the location of an escape hatch. Typically, these hatches are used for quiet escapes when you have a key. During the Hatch Repairs quest, you’ll visit one of these hatches to find the pipe you need to repair.
When you approach a hatch, you’ll notice a small pipe on its top left side. It will be marked with a yellow circle when you get close. Interact with this pipe to repair it and complete the quest.
### How to Get the Hatch Key
After repairing the pipe, you can collect a free Hatch Key from the box next to the hatch if you move slightly to the left. This key allows you to escape through the hatch. Once you complete the Hatch Repairs quest, Shani will give you another Hatch Key. However, Hatch Keys are quite rare during looting on the Topside map.
You can also craft these keys at a level-two utility station or purchase them from Shani for about 9,000 coins.
