While Borderlands 4 is always chaotic and chaotic chaos, there’s still a small amount of normalcy lurking in its dusty corners. Meet Lisa FullFoija, the manager of the legendary band Thrum Dumpster, who’s just trying to find a new singer for her band.
It turns out the original singer had some issues, which may or may not have caused his sudden death. Now, Lisa needs fresh talent to step into his shoes. She has three Rippers in mind for the role, but they probably won’t come quietly. It’s up to you to convince them—sometimes with a little force.
### How to Find the Three Recruits for Lisa
This side mission begins when you talk to Lisa FullFoija at The Couch Hole, a point of interest located in a tunnel cutting through the lower middle of Carcadia Burn.
After watching a quick show, she’ll share her plan. Take the digi-dongle from her, then demonstrate how to use it by fighting and capturing Wails Briskly. Next, you need to find and fight three Rippers: Big Suck, Crunch Tongue, and Sketch Calhoun.
#### Big Suck
Big Suck is the closest Ripper. You can find him at a small house south of the Makeshift Chalet Safehouse, near the map’s edge. To reach him, exit west from the tunnel, follow the road south, passing the Rustical Hurl Silo and the Safehouse.
Go around the side of the building to trigger the door to open, where you’ll be ambushed by two Meatheads and Big Suck himself. He’s basically a regular Meathead but can come with modifiers like other enemies. Watch out for his minigun—take cover if needed. When he’s low on health, rush up and use the digi-dongle to teleport him back to Lisa.
#### Crunch Tongue
Crunch Tongue is the second-closest Ripper. You’ll find him northeast of where Big Suck was or directly northeast of the Makeshift Chalet Safehouse if you fast travel there. Head past the entrance to the Tendercage Drill Site, climb the ladder at the end of the ravine between the two parts of the site, and enter the cave in the cliff wall. Inside, you’ll see some Rippers, including Crunch Tongue, along with a large metal horn.
This area, part of the Ripper Drill Site called Tendercage, involves fighting waves of enemies and bosses. Completing it for the first time grants 40 SDU Tokens and offers ongoing opportunities for loot and experience.
#### Sketch Calhoun
Sketch Calhoun is found at a large Ripper facility in the northwest of the Grindstone of the Worthy region, identifiable by its towers that emit flames. To reach him, fight your way to the entrance, which features a giant skull. You’ll be denied entry, so instead, go around the right side of the entrance ledge, jump, and glide across to the plateau. Follow the curved building layout to a back door with a flag outside.
Before fighting Sketch Calhoun, you must fend off two waves of Rippers, with Sketch joining in the second wave. Once enough Rippers are defeated, confront Sketch himself—who’s like a tougher Badass Zerker, wielding powerful AoE attacks thanks to his weapon. Lower his health to zero, then use the digi-dongle to capture him.

### How to Put the Band Together
Once you’ve captured the recruits, return to The Couch Hole in the northeast and speak to Lisa to deliver her new band members. Enjoy the sound check—complete with simulated crowd noise and fireworks—and prepare for one last fight.
Big Suck, Crunch Tongue, and Sketch Calhoun will jump off the stage to attack. They wield the same moves as before, but modifiers, such as Chain Master or Contagious, can make the fight more challenging.
When all three are defeated, speak to Lisa near the stage to finish the mission. Your reward includes around 12,000 experience points (depending on your level), 2,000 cash, some Eridium, and a random uncommon, rare, or epic SMG.
