There are many ways to discover Hollow Knight: Silksong, and the game hides more secrets than you’d expect. Some secrets appear randomly, while others can be revealed through specific wishes you receive on different wish boards.
One such wish is the Lost Merchant. Not only does this wish add more items for sale in Jubilana’s shop, but it also guides you to a hidden biome you might never find if you weren’t looking for it.
How to get the Lost Merchant wish
Before trying to obtain this wish, you need to progress quite far in the game. First, unlock the Songclave by freeing the bell inside the First Shrine located at the top right of the Choral Chambers. Then, complete The Wandering Merchant wish on the wish board in Songclave to unlock Jubilana.
Once you’ve done that, explore around the Citadel and unlock various biomes—including the Memorium. After gaining enough progress and purchasing several items from Jubilana, you’ll notice a new Wayfarer request called The Lost Merchant in Songclave. At this point, Jubilana will be missing once again.
How to find Jubilana in Memorium
When you accept The Lost Merchant wish, it states Jubilana went to Memorium searching for trinkets. To reach her, you can either use the Ventrica if you’ve unlocked it in Memorium or go through the top left exit from Songclave. Use the Faydown Cloak in the green biome area above as you get close to fighting the Cogwork Dancers.
In Memorium, start by heading to the bench at the bottom to save your game. From there, exit on the left side and look for the shiny merchant wares above that you can track. You can follow the trail or go back to the bench and move all the way to the right if you’ve unlocked that path.
Secret path to reach Jubilana
After reaching the right side, you’ll find a hidden corridor. There’s a small part of a wall sticking out of the silk—use your double jump to grab onto it. Proceed to the right through this secret passage until you arrive in a small open area. Here, you’ll face several enemies to free Jubilana and complete the wish.
