Progress in Last Epoch often involves farming rare enemies or obtaining rare drops. One of the most challenging to find is the Immortal Eye. These necrotic enemies are usually connected to Prophecy quests from the Circle of Fortune faction, which may require killing a specific number of them to earn valuable loot rewards.
Sadly, Immortal Eyes are uncommon in regular zones and only appear under certain conditions. Knowing where to look is essential to locate them efficiently.
## What Are Immortal Eyes
Immortal Eyes are undead eyeball enemies that spawn in areas filled with necrotic energy. They shoot homing Soul Bolts at players and, when weakened, crawl toward you before erupting in an area-of-effect explosion. These enemies are part of some Prophecies offered by the Circle of Fortune. These Prophecies often ask you to hunt a certain number of specific enemies, rewarding you with loot once you complete the task.
Visually, Immortal Eyes can look similar to Immortal Watchers, but only the Eyes count toward your Prophecy progress.
However, it’s not enough to just enter any area with Immortal Eyes. Your Prophecy will specify whether to hunt them in normal zones or in the Monolith of Fate, which can change how you approach farming.
## How To Find Immortal Eyes in Normal Zones
You can encounter Immortal Eyes during standard zone runs, especially in specific necrotic areas during the Imperial Era. They tend to appear most often in these zones:
| Zone | Area |
|——————–|——————————|
| The Great College | Welryn |
| The Arena | Southwest of Heoborea |
| Imperial Welryn | Welryn |
| The Risen Lake | Lake Liath |
| The Felled Wood | Thetima |
| Imperial Thetima | Thetima |
| The Imperial Dreadnought | Western coast of Thetima |
| The Dreadnought’s Deck | Western coast of Thetima |
You will usually find these zones naturally while playing through the campaign. Imperial Welryn, in particular, is a consistent spot for farming Immortal Eyes, making it a good choice when hunting them.
Keep in mind that even if you’re in the right zone or timeline, Immortal Eyes may not appear every time. Their spawn is not guaranteed.
For zones like The Arena, you’ll need an Arena Key. These keys can drop from certain nodes in the Monolith of Fate, show up as optional rewards after Arena runs, or sometimes drop from enemies in the Empowered Monolith.
## How to Find Immortal Eyes in Monoliths
If your Prophecy points to the Monolith of Fate, you’ll need to run specific timelines where Immortal Eyes are known to spawn. These timelines include:
| Timeline | Level |
|—————————-|——–|
| Fall of the Outcasts | 62 |
| Blood, Frost, and Death | 74 |
| Reign of Dragons | 85 |
| Fall of the Empire | 82 |
| Spirits of Fire | 90 |
These are the only timelines where Immortal Eyes reliably appear. Focus on farming your Prophecy objectives during these runs. Remember, you may need to run several echoes before you see enough Immortal Eyes to complete your quest.
