In Crimson Desert, you’ll find many vendors and shopkeepers willing to trade with you. Most of them accept silver or copper in exchange for goods, but some only sell to honorable members of society. These special vendors are called Contribution Shops, and they offer rare or unique items in exchange for Contribution Points.
We’ll teach you how to earn more Contribution Points so you can buy the special items at Contribution Shops. Keep reading to discover where the first Contribution Shop is located in Hernand and how the trading process works.
What Are Contribution Points & How Do You Earn Them?
Contribution Points show how much you’ve helped improve the lives of the people and towns in a specific area like Hernand. You can earn Contribution Points in several ways:
- Donating money to beggars (small increase)
- Completing requests from the notice board (small increase)
- Finishing bounties from bounty boards (small to medium increase)
- Freeing refugees (small to medium increase)
- Liberating bandit-controlled areas (medium increase)
- Completing main story quests (medium to large increase)
You can also boost your Contribution Point gains by using certain equipment, such as Frostcursed Plate Boots, which give an additional 10% bonus for every contribution action you perform.
Where to Find Contribution Shops
Contribution Shops are special vendors found around Pywel, where you can spend your Contribution Points in each area. Only Contribution Points earned in Hernand can be spent at the Hernand Contribution Shop.
The first Contribution Shop is located in Hernand Castle. To reach it, go up the road and through the back gate of the castle. You’ll find a door between two archways that leads down into the shop, which needs a key to unlock. Alternatively, there’s another entrance headed by vines, just slightly up the curved cobblestone road.
When you arrive at the Hernand Contribution Shop, talk to Haldwin to see his inventory. He offers a variety of items you can buy with your Contribution Points. You can also sell items back to Haldwin if you’d like to recover some Contribution Points.
