Projects are a key part of Arc Raiders. They are medium-length events where you can put in resources to earn rewards and help progress the game’s continuous story. Some projects are community-focused, but most are between you and your character. You work on them slowly as you do quests, gather loot, and fight other Raiders if that’s what you prefer.
Shani wants to improve Speranza’s ability to detect strange ARC signals reported by Raiders. To do this, she needs upgraded equipment. It’s time to contribute your collected resources to help the city and humanity, and in return, you’ll get some valuable rewards.
Every Step for the High-Gain Antenna Project
The High-Gain Antenna is another project you can work on and has three stages, each requiring you to supply resources for a reward: Sturdy Base, Data Logger, and Parabolic Dish.
This project mainly needs ARC resources. You’ll have to fight numerous ARC machines to gather what’s needed, loot Probes (both crashed and uncrashed), and collect Couriers whenever possible.
Tip: Use non-crashed ARC Probes as much as you can. They have a chance to drop any of the necessary materials, including Vaporizer Regulators. The only material that can’t appear in a Probe is the Assessor Matrix.
This project also emphasizes the Close Scrutiny map condition, which only occurs on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and The Blue Gate. When this condition is active, all ARC spawns are removed except for Wasps, Hornets, Rocketeers, and the condition-specific Vaporizer enemies and Assessors.
Sturdy Base
The first stage requires four resources: ARC Alloy, ARC Flex Rubber, ARC Performance Steel, and Advanced ARC Power Cells. These are obtained by looting ARC enemies or ARC Couriers and Probes.
Resources and how to get them:
- ARC Alloy x50: Loot from any ARC enemy—most enemies drop between 2 and 10.
- ARC Flex Rubber x10: Loot from specific enemies like Ticks, Leapers, Bastions, Bombardiers, or Baron Husks found on maps such as Dam Battlegrounds’ Old Battleground area. Looting ARC enemies and Probes tends to be faster than killing Baron Husks, which are often looted first.
- ARC Performance Steel x15: Loot from Hornets, Bastions, Leapers, Surveyors, and Baron Husks.
- Advanced ARC Power Cells x15: Loot from larger ARC enemies like Rocketeers, Comets, Leapers, Bastions, or from ARC Couriers and Rocketeer Husks.
Reward: Completing this step grants you a Torrente II, an Extended Medium Mag III, an Extended Barrel, and a Padded Stock.
Data Logger
The second stage is heavily focused on materials from ARC enemies that appear only under the Close Scrutiny condition. You need to obtain RC Coolants, ARC Thermo Lining, Vaporizer Regulators, and Assessor Matrices.
Tip: You can track the movement of an Assessors once they spawn, as they appear on the map like Probes and Couriers, with their paths visible.
Reward: Finish this stage to earn a Bobcat III, an Extended Light Mag III, a Vertical Grip III, and 100 Raider Tokens.
Resources:
- ARC Coolant x15: Loot from fire-related ARC enemies like Comets, Pop Rollers, Fireballs, Sentinels, and Surveyors.
- ARC Thermo Lining x15: Loot from fire-related ARC enemies such as Pop Rollers and Fireballs, and from Snitches, Ticks, Turrets, Wasps, and Baron Husks.
- Vaporizer Regulator x4: Only obtainable by defeating Vaporizers on maps with the Close Scrutiny condition. Vaporizers are large, flying enemies with lasers that can set you on fire, and they are tough—they have a lot of health and fly quickly.
- Assessor Matrix x6: These are dropped only by Assessors, special ARC structures appearing during Close Scrutiny. Assessors spawn a few minutes into the round, marked by three red beams, and are guarded by Vaporizers, Rocketeers, Wasps, and Hornets. They have three loot panels.
Note: The Dolabra Shotgun Blueprint can be looted from Assessors—yet, only one blueprint is available per Assessor, so players fight for access.
Parabolic Dish
The final step focuses mainly on battling Vaporizers and looting Assessors again, as they contain the most required materials. You’ll also need to find and kill the elusive Surveyors: their Vaults, ARC Synthetic Resin, Vaporizer Regulators, and Assessor Matrices.
Tip: Buried City is the best location for fighting Vaporizers because the many buildings provide cover, helping you dodge their lasers and take a moment to heal without being attacked.
Reward: Completing this stage gives you a Vita Spray, a Photoelectric Cloak, a Snap Hook, and 400 Raider Tokens.
Resources:
- Surveyor Vault x10: Looted from Surveyors, which can appear passively on any map. They generally avoid combat, often running away when attacked. You can also find them in ARC Couriers and Probes.
- ARC Synthetic Resin x20: Loot from ARC enemies like Wasps, Snitches, Spotters, and Shredders, and from Baron Husks and Deforester Husks.
- Vaporizer Regulator x15 & Assessor Matrix x18: Both come from looting Vaporizers and Assessors during Close Scrutiny maps.
This summarizes the key steps for each phase of the High-Gain Antenna project, focusing on fighting ARC enemies, looting specific resources, and how to maximize your loot chances.
